We are currently looking for an Associate Vice President - Life Sciences Transformation to join our team in New York. The AVP will be a senior leader within our Life Sciences consulting practice, responsible for driving business growth, leading high-impact client engagements, and building the firm's presence in the life sciences market direclty reporting to a Vice President (VP) of Life Science Transformation.

Day in the Life

  • Own P&L responsibility for the Life Sciences practice/vertical, including revenue growth, margin management, and resource utilization
  • Lead business development efforts — identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and driving proposal/RFP wins
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite and senior client stakeholders across pharma, biotech, medtech, and related life sciences segments
  • Lead and manage large-scale transformation programs (e.g., operating model redesign, digital transformation, commercial effectiveness, M&A integration)
  • Build, mentor, and manage high-performing consulting teams; foster a culture of excellence and accountability
  • Shape and deliver thought leadership, points of view, and go-to-market offerings specific to life sciences
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with practice leaders to expand service offerings and drive cross-sell opportunities
  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and client forums to strengthen brand visibility

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $204,000 per year and total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package described below. We expect total annualized compensation for New York City-based employees to be approximately the following:

  • Base salary between $180,000 - $204,000 p.a.. Placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level 
  • Annual discretionary performance bonus between 0-40%

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS or MBA required; life sciences-focused degree or specialization strongly preferred
  • 8–10 years of relevant experience in life sciences consulting or life sciences-centric industry roles
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing large-scale transformation efforts
  • Proven business development track record with a strong network in the life sciences ecosystem
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, boutique consulting environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with executive presence

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity or fluency with AI tools and applications relevant to consulting or life sciences (e.g., GenAI use cases in R&D, commercial, or clinical operations)
  • Exposure to AI-driven analytics, automation, or digital enablement in client delivery
  • Understanding of how AI is reshaping business models within pharma, biotech, or medtech
